Thank you for inquiring about our Pension which accommodates all year in two sites students in one villa and visitors in the other. Our pension is located in Antsirabé 167 km from the capital Tananarivo where you arrive at the international airport if you are a foreign tourist. In the entrance hall you have to buy a short or long stay visa. For example: a 60-day visa will cost 40 €uros. As soon as you cross the Arrivals gate our chauffeur will welcome you to Madagascar and drive you to Antsirabé where we have our two sites not far from the center of the city in a quiet well-protected location.
Antsirabé is a touristical, university and industrial city (brewery, textile) where one moves by rickshaw. Located in a magnificent volcanic landscape at 1600 m above sea level, the city is known for its thermal baths and its superb lakes (Tritriva, Andraikiba). Antirabé is also the starting point for many routes leading to tourist attractions: national parks, seaside, baobabs, etc.
Our pension is an ideal boarding place for a long stay thanks to an unlimited wifi connection, a library containing hundreds of fiction books in several languages and especially sumptuous books specializing in art and painting. There is also a games room for bridge and chess players and a barbecue garden. Above all: the proximity to the hostel for students and trainees allows an enriching contact with the youth and the Malagasy population
Internet and telephone working properly in Madagascar we can also accommodate people who want to do remote work or even usefully advise expat candidates. Likewise NGO interns are also welcome in our pension for students where they will benefit from particularly favorable host conditions.
In our pension we offer in each room a double bed, the comfort of an harmonious decoration, an individual toilet, a hot water shower, permanent access to the multilingual library, a television and of course an unlimited wifi. Meals are being served in the dining hall where cocktail parties and festive gatherings also take place.
The boarding house organisation of the Malagasy students is made to devote as much time as possible to their studies while respecting their cultural and spiritual needs.
When you start your visit in Antsirabe you are free to decide on what you would like to do in Madagascar, this contrary to the choices you have to follow from a tour operator in Europe when you book a circuit. You can decide to enjoy the tropical sun in our barbecue garden, rent a mountain bike to discover the surroundings or visit a touristical hot spot. A multitude of touring companies are in Antsirabe, so you can decide your choice of visit: the seaside in the east (Morondava), or in the south (Toliar), the cities of Ambositra, Fianarantsoa, the national parks or for example not far from our pension admire one of Madagascar biggest nurseries for tropical plants.
